Difference between iMindMap and MindGenius

The most common question I am asked is what is the difference between iMindMap (www.imindmap.com.au) and MindGenius (www.mindgenius.com.au) - there are a couple of differences

First is price – imind map is around $130
and MindGenius is $370 where you get two licenses

The second is the look and feel of the mind maps

Imindmaps are great for publishing –as the
mind maps look great - see http://www.fuzz2buzz.com/en/mex/items/154/six-thinking-hats

MindGenius is very practical but not as
pretty - see http://www.fuzz2buzz.com/en/mex/mind-map/software/264/inclusive-learning-culture

When you export as a powerpoint presentation …

- Imindmap will give you two slides only – an
animated version of the Mind Map and a jpeg image

- Mind Genius converts the mind map into
individual powerpoint slides i.e. if you have 5 major branches you will get a
Title Slide, the Mind Map jpeg, An agenda of the 5 points then 5 individual
slides.

The same would go for exporting to MS Word Documents

I use both for different reasons. What do you use? What would you recommend?
