Jakob Nielsen shared a rule 90-9-1. Simply put, the rule states that in a typical online community, 90% of the users are lurkers, 9% are occasional contributors, and only 1% are active contributors.
.
This is the great news for you because as a BLI member of www.fuzz2buzz.com you can be a thought
leader by actively contributing as the community grows – stand out and be in the Top 1%.
.
While we are still in Beta mode, we are looking for active contributors like Tanya Phonanan to build more content and raise awareness of the community.
.
By adding your programs to MindEvents, sharing a casestudy orMind Maps on the Mind Exchange
or blogging on the BuzzBlog about any area of creative thinking and learning, you will establish yourself as a leader in
the field.
.
Why bother? Apart from helping achieve global mental
literacy, you will raise your profile, increase your Google rankings, and bring
you up to speed on how to engage people through Web 2.0. Once you have a few
blogs written, you could then combine them into an ebook that you could share
with your clients/students or sell on the www.fuzz2buzz.com
estore (we are just finalising it now).
.
Special offer – for BLIs who increase their buzzies by <150
points by the end of May,2008 will receive a copy of the 3 hour “Tony Buzan Master
Class” DVD. Filmed in Australia in February, 2008, Tony shares a rare insight
into what got him started and where Mind Maps actually came from – and it is
not Left/Right Brain.
.
All it takes is 30 minutes a week to make a real
difference. It is really simple and easy
– if I can do it then you can. Jump on www.fuzz2buzz.com
now and add a quick blog on BuzzBlog.
Let me know if you have any questions or usability issues – would love to hear
from you and iron out any bugs before we really open it up globally.
.
Thanks for your support and look forward to collaborating with you.
Radiantly yours
Jennifer Goddard
