Mind Maps improve self esteem of Primary School children

Did you know… Improving memory and using Mind Maps improves self esteem.


“Grade 5 literacy support students were introduced to memory techniques to illustrate that they possessed the ability to remember. This was necessary as they all thought they had “bad brains”.


They would say “my brain is not as good as so and so’s”. So we said “Your memory is as good as anybody else’s, I am going to show you how you can prove it”.

Magic of the Mind - Royal Albert Hall 4,000 11-15 year old and teachers

Thought I would share this interesting article I just found where Tony Buzan and Christine Miller (editor of ReSource magazine (www.resourcemagazine.co.uk) share thier thoughts on learning and talk about the "Magic of the Mind" event at the Royal Albert Hall in London where 4,000 11-15 year olds and their teachers explored thinking skills, learning styles and memory techniques.
