Want to know why people ruffle your feathers? Why some teams work well together and others don't? Why some people are good and some things and dumb at others? A new special interest group has been created to discuss the HBDI (Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument) profile. Chaired by Jennifer Goddard, a certified HBDI practitioner, the group discussions will give you an insight into improved communication, leadership, management, problem solving, decision-making, and other aspects of personal and interpersonal development.

What is HBDI

The Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument is a 120 question survey that collects clues on your thinking prefereneces. We have all heard of left-brained or right-brained thinkers, well the HBDI profile lets you know what your thinking preference is and, in a team environment, helps the group understand what ruffles their feathers and how to communicate better.

Barack Obama is proud of being left-handed

Like many of us, I watched with awe as Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th president. His inauguration speach was so inspiring and gives each individual [brain], around the world, a renewed spark to work together.

What I found most interesting was when he signed his first document as president with his left hand, he said "I'm a lefty. Get used to it".

Why is it that he felt he should comment on being left-handed?? Read more
