In this year’s Leadership Victoria Lecture, titled The Leader and the Gang, delivered by University of Melbourne Vice Chancellor Glyn Davis, the traits of leadership were again looked, but this time with a twist.  In his opening Prof Davis said the academic study of leadership has found no laws or formulas to follow in choosing or becoming a leader.  He also said “The term natural leader is a revealing one; a leader who simply emerges from the group without the need for any formal process of selection or appointment.”

knowing Joan Kirner, former  state premier.
Indeed even a basic knowledge of Current affairs would have exposed you
to very talented woman who have been leaders in their chosen field from all
walks of life. And let us not forget the hidden heroine's who stood behind
there husband or partner.
From Queen Boadicea to the Iron Lady Margaret Thatcher of Great Britain and
in recent history Hilary Clinton who made a valiant effort to become the first
Female President of the USA. There have been many unsung heroines.
