As a BLI you will not doubt do a lot of presentations and may love or hate powerpoint (which can be quite powerpointless)

 

If you don't want to subject your audience to death by Powerpoint then I highly recommend you hone up your presentation skills by looking at Garr Reynolds blog http://www.presentationzen.com/ and his new book Presentation Zen.

 

He shares simple and powerfuld ideas on presentation design and delivery and his key message is to use a key words and image to get your message across.

Here is a Mind Map Summary of the Talk I gave at the American Creativity Conference in Singapore 25-29 Feb, 08

The talk was around the creativity crisis and that Demography, not technology, will be the main driver in the future. After a few stats on life expectancy and declining fertility rates - the Population is shifting from a Christmas tree (largest population is at the bottom with babies) to Coffin Shape (large bulge for baby boomers)

I then talked about the key elements that organisations and individuals need to be aware of and then showed how you need to shift your approach in the future.
